Spencer was born and raised in the Yukon where he naturally found a passion for the land and animals around him. He spent most of his younger years frequenting remote hunting concessions in the Yukon. Spencer began packing for guided hunts in his teens and began guiding and piloting once he turned 18. Spencer is passionate in continuing studies of wildlife and doing what it takes to keep the Yukon’s wild sheep population healthy for future generations.

Clint has always been involved in outdoor recreation and has been a hunter for over 40 years.  To promote and protect his outdoor / wildlife interests, he has volunteered with various conservation organizations throughout that time.  Clint is a Life Member of both the Wild Sheep Foundation and the Yukon Wild Sheep Foundation.  Clint and his family have called the Yukon "home" for nearly 12 years and he has previously served on the Board of the YWSF as the founding President.  In his professional life, Clint is a commercial helicopter pilot, specializing in wildlife management and capture projects during the winter season.  The valuable data being collected assists multiple Canadian government agencies in effectively managing public wildlife, to help ensure that our wildlife will always remain on the landscape.

Michael was born and raised in Whitehorse and fortunate to be part of a family with a keen interest in exploring the territory through various outdoor pursuits. However, hunting wasn't introduced to him until his twenties. Since then, it has become an integral part of his lifestyle and the greatest excuse for staying active and traveling to new and familiar places in the Territory. The challenge of sheep hunting and respect for where these animals live have led to his interest in conservation. His goal is for all interest groups to collaborate on obtaining a greater understanding of the wild sheep populations in the Yukon and supporting wildlife management practices that ensure wild sheep populations remain healthy while maintaining hunting opportunities for current and future generations.

As a born and raised Yukoner I have been truly fortunate to hunt with family and friends from an early age and have had incredible opportunities to hunt the wilderness of the Yukon. As a wildlife conservationist, my goal is to serve on the board of the Yukon Wild Sheep Foundation in order to sustain healthy wild sheep populations, promote sound wildlife management, ensure that wild sheep and hunting opportunities will endure, and try to give back to the resource that has given me so much. I am member of the Yukon Fish & Game Association, a Life Member of the Yukon Wild Sheep Foundation, a member of WSF, and a Registered Professional Biologist (BC/AB).

I am an avid fisherman and hunter. I enjoy all things outdoors and often find myself taking friends and family outside to showcase what the Yukon has to offer. I enjoy suffering with physical activity and pushing the limits through ultra running. I am a passionate advocate for fostering youth education through outdoor learning experiences.

Todd was born and raised in the Caribou region of BC and was fortunate to have spent a lot of time in the outdoors in this region of the province which fueled his passion for hunting and seeing new wild places. Over the years he has had the opportunity to hunt and guide for sheep and other wildlife throughout BC, Alberta, the NWT and the Yukon. Todd has a bachelor’s degree in forestry from the University of Northern BC and has spent the past 23 years working in that field across BC, Alberta and now the Yukon. Todd is a Registered Forest Professional (RPF) within the Province of BC and is currently the southeast Yukon Area Forester and manages the Carmacks, Ross River- Faro and the Watson Lake districts. His forestry background has been focussed in forest operations management (forest development and harvesting) but he has also spent several years working with the BC Wildfire Service as a fire fighter. His wildlife, forestry and fire experience have given him critical insight into meshing forestry operations with fire, ecosystem restoration and wildlife habitat enhancement. Todd has had the opportunity to complete multiple projects in the Kootenay region of BC where the key component was to improve sheep and ungulate habitat through the implementation of mechanical harvesting, fire and manual habitat enhancement techniques. Todd is a member of the Yukon Fish & Game Association, the Yukon Wild Sheep Foundation and the Wild Sheep Foundation. Todd is passionate about the conservation of all wildlife, especially sheep, and wishes to be nominated for a position as a board member on the Yukon Wild Sheep Foundation. He is keen to work with the board and other stakeholders and to share his knowledge and experience as a YWSF member to help promote a healthy future for wild sheep in the Yukon.

I was born and raised here in the Yukon. Currently I work as a General contractor in Whitehorse. As a kid I spent all of my winters playing Hockey doing anything I could to stay at the rink. When the was not an option there was always the outdoor rink. This passion left me looking for summer activities, which are never hard to find in the Yukon. This was when my uncle started to take me fishing and was a big part of growing my joy for the outdoors. Many fishing trips were the highlight of the summers growing up in the Yukon. That soon transitioned to hunting more so sheep hunting as I became older. Spending many weeks staring at maps, prepping gear and trying to get some scouting in when the time permitted. Sheep hunting can be a incredible adventure. Experiencing the raw up and down emotions of a backpack sheep hunt is what keeps drawing me back. To this day I am still hooked and am always counting down the days to get out again. While that may be a little more limited with kids taking over some of that time I am looking forward to passing that joy /experience to the younger generation.

After being born in the Yukon I have spent time living around the country, from New Brunswick to Alberta before finding my way back here, home. No matter where I’m living you can find me hunting, fishing, or exploring the outdoors with any of my free time. Experiencing the opportunities from other parts of the country really makes you appreciate what the Yukon has to offer. I actively sit on the board of the Yukon Fish & Game Association along with the Yukon Wild Sheep Foundation with the intent to aide in the conservation of Yukon wildlife and the upkeep of sustainable hunting and fishing opportunities. A priority to myself will be collaborating to maintain and grow a healthy Yukon sheep population for today and future generations.
